We will be open from 9-5 on Saturday and Sunday. We will have some handspun yarns and some alpaca felted items along with spinning demonstrations. Welcome to our farm in rural Perry County Missouri, specializing in Rare & Elegant Suri alpacas. We breed for Conformation, Color and exceptional fiber at a reasonable price. Our Alpacas are fed excellent nutrition to give them the best fiber possible. We offer Alpaca sales, breeding services, boarding and alpaca fiber product; which includes handspun yarns and batts, and handfelted items made right here on the farm. Why Suri Alpacas
Suri Alpacas are Rare only making up approximatley 10% of the Alpaca population. They have unique fiber with high-luster fibers, draping down the sides of the body in a twisted or flat form of various size. Suri fiber is in demand and consistently brings a premium price in the fiber market. Alpaca Fiber is hypo-allergenic and also has a smooth outer surface, which makes it one of the finest and softest fibers to the touch. Alpaca Fiber has a semi-hollow structure, which allows it to wick moisture away from the skin and trap warmth. Alpaca in the United States are sheared once a year and the process is simple and quick.
