Oregon by Jetta (Al's Amusement Park)
Back on I-84 East.
Next stop in Washington State, at a lookout point for the "Bridge of the Gods" across the Columbia River.

Next stop, back on the south side of the river at another overlook.
Notice the terrain change. This ain't no rainforest no more.
Looking up river (that's east for you east coast folks)...
... and down river on the other side of the lookout.
Now for the amusement park part. Way back in the early part of the century, before NASCAR, people built roads like this for fun.
It's a good thing I stopped at K-mart for that 12-pack of underwear before I left because I needed a new pair every couple of turns here.
It's like a slot car set for adults.
