I like Spam. The kind that's made by Hormel, and comes in a can. It's great in those two quintessential Hawaiian delicacies, Spam musubi (but please hold the nori on mine!) and Spam saimin soup. It's also great in scalloped potatoes, or just fried up. I like it better than ham, and if I didn't have high blood pressure, I'd eat it far more often than I do.

I also like the Monty Python "Spam" sketch, so much so that at the conclusions of both my trips to Hawaii to date, finishing the vacation with a breakfast of "Spam, eggs, Spam, rice, and Spam," I looked around for Vikings.

On the other hand, I can do without the kind that comes in my in-box.
